A New Chapter | Our Move to America 🇺🇸
Last year, we shared that after much prayer and seeking God, Daniel felt the Lord leading him to hand over the senior leadership of Fire Church Ministries and step into a new season of full time itinerant music and ministry.
At the time, we knew God was closing one chapter and opening another, but there were still many pieces that needed to fall into place.
We are now so excited to share what has happened since.
After 13 years of planting, pastoring and overseeing churches in Australia, we have successfully handed over Fire Church Ministries, which has now become Awakening Church under the global leadership of Ben Fitzgerald.
We are so excited for this next chapter and wholeheartedly believe that Awakening Church will continue to go from glory to glory and from strength to strength, building upon all God has already established and stepping into all He has for the future.
Chelsea also stepped out of her role as Senior Minister on the Sunshine Coast, joining Daniel as they stepped together into this new season and continued their pursuit to preach the Gospel and reach the lost wherever God would send them.
We are incredibly grateful for all God has done throughout those 13 years. What began as a step of faith grew into a beautiful community of people passionate about the presence of God, the Gospel and seeing lives transformed by Jesus.
Being able to release what God entrusted to us and see it continue into a new season has been incredibly significant for our family.
At the same time, God was opening the door to something He had been speaking to us about for the past three years.
Our Move to Nashville 🎉
After three years of prayer, preparation and believing God for the United States, Daniel received his O1 Visa for Extraordinary Ability in the Arts, opening the door for our family to relocate to America.
In July, our family of five packed one suitcase each, said goodbye to Australia and moved to the Nashville, Tennessee area.
It has been one of the biggest steps of faith we have taken as a family.
We are now settling into life in Tennessee, enjoying our rental home and watching our children find their feet at school and in a completely new country.
There have certainly been challenges and adjustments, but through every step we have continued to see the faithfulness and provision of God.
We are especially grateful for the generosity of those who have sown into our family and ministry. Your partnership has helped make this transition possible and enabled us to step into what God has called us to do.
What We Are Doing Now 🇺🇸
We are now stepping fully into the season Daniel shared about last year through Daniel Hagen Ministries.
Our heart is to go wherever God opens the door, partnering with churches and ministries to preach the Gospel, equip believers, reach the lost and stir the Church for evangelism and revival.
Since arriving in Tennessee, ministry doors have already begun to open. Daniel has had opportunities to preach, teach and equip believers, including recently teaching at an outreach and equipping school.
Daniel has also ministered at a large outreach at Nashville Superspeedway, where thousands of people gathered and the Gospel was boldly proclaimed with hundreds saved.
And the doors are already beginning to open beyond Tennessee. In September, Daniel will be travelling to Custer, South Dakota, to minister at the High Country Revival.
We are excited and expectant to see where else God opens doors as we continue to say yes to His call.
Music and Media
Music continues to be a significant part of Daniel’s ministry and calling.
Being based in Nashville is providing opportunities for Daniel to write, record, collaborate and build relationships with musicians, producers and ministries, while continuing to develop Christ centred music and media with a heart to reach people with the Gospel.
Our vision is to see music and media used as powerful vehicles for evangelism, reaching people both inside and outside the walls of the Church.
Whether through preaching, worship, music, outreach, media or equipping believers, the mission remains the same:
To make Jesus known.
Nashville is now our home and ministry base, but our heart is to go wherever God sends us throughout America and beyond.
What Daniel shared last year is now becoming a reality.
One chapter has been faithfully handed over, and a new one has begun.
